Steam subscribed mods wont download

I currently have poor internet for downloading games or anything large (i.e. around 150 KB/s maximum download rate). When I subscribed to a very large Skyrim mod via the Workshop, the mod never got downloaded.After an hour of playing Skyrim without it, waiting for Skyrim to sync and the works, it never started downloading.

I tried removing the game, and the Civ5 folder in MyGames, then reinstall, verify the game cache to mend that one file that won't download, and Hello there. I'm trying to activate my mods for After Dark but none of them are showing up on the Mods Tab. It does say that I am subscribed to them on the bottom Steam Workshop tab. When I try to download or subscribe to something in the workshop, it doesn't download anything. I did move my game files from my regular harddrive to my new SSD (I redownloaded the whole game). i subscribed to a mod waited a litttle bit lanched ark. Once on ark on the main menu in the coner it said it was installing one mod. i then when into host/local. where it said waiting for steam client to start mod download. i was unable to refresh mods during this time. :( and it has stayed like this for a while. First, unsubscribe to all mods you have subscribed to. Then, verify the integrity of your game cache. Once it has verified, start the game, click Mods, click Get Mods and subscribe to a random mod. It should download. However, if it doesn't, then once again, unsubscribe from any mods you have just subscribed to. Now exit steam. Subscribed to Mods in Workshop, Don't show up in Mod list In Game Try restarting steam then. Oh and it won't download anything for a game that is running. Deleting appmanifest294100.acf may cause steam to forget rimworld is installed, though that might help. #8. zradack12
